Prevent Damage & Keep Your Structure + Foundation Safe

Over time voids can form under concrete slabs in place such as your basement, front porch, etc.. As the soil underneath settles or is shifted away for various reasons, a gap opens up between the soil and the bottom of the concrete slab.

These types of voids under concrete eventually lead to cracking or settling concrete. Other unwanted effects include cracking in foundation walls and floors, cracking of brick veneer, structure tilting, as well as the inability to properly open and close doors or windows.

Filling these voids with polyurethane foam is the optimal choice for restoring stability. Polyurethane can travel several feet in every direction to fill voids, fissures and holes. It has the ability to consolidate organic material, sand and loose rock. If properly monitored it can provide support without excessively lifting or stressing the slab which causes fractures.

The Void filling process is a minimally intrusive procedure that usually takes only a one day to complete. We start by drilling a grid pattern of small 5/8" holes and determine the size of the void and slowly work on filling and monitoring the expansion process of the foam. We mitigate the mess we create and provide adequate mechanical ventilation during the whole job. The foam sets in minutes and creates a permanent solution to a void.
